Adventure Ireland Sports Programs are run in association with FETAC, which is the Further Education and training Awards Council of Ireland. Sports qualifications are also awarded by the Royal Life Saving Society, Irish Surf Association, Irish Canoe Union, and Lifeguards Ireland (First Aid.) All of these governing bodies are affiliated to International Governing Bodies, and qualifications are world-recognised.

Adventure Ireland is currently working with several colleges to provide off-shore training courses which will become part of sports courses including Physical Education degree courses, Excercise Science & Wellness, Kinesiology and Sports Management and Leadership. We specialise in outdoor adventure sports, including Surfing, Paddle Sports, Climbing, Adventure Activities, Outdoor Leadership & Management, and Child Protection & First Aid.

Adventure Ireland will create a custom-designed programme to suit the demands of an offshore college programme. This can be from 5 days to a full semester, depending on the requirements. Curriculum developer Niamh Hamill will liaise with the sports faculty and study abroad office to design the specific curriculum.
