My experience wtih the Adventure Ireland Program has been great,
I really enjoyed getting to know people from all over Ireland, and other countries.

The staff at Adventure Ireland are very helpful and friendly who are dedicated to making the Ireland experience wonderful for all of us who took part.

We did the sports program three days each week with a group of students from all over the world. We did a lot of surfing and paddle sports, climbing and other outdoor activities.
Once a week, we were brought on a cultural tour, and we went to amazing places like Derry City, Donegal Castle, Enya's home, Sliabh League(the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Scary!), Glencolmcille, and loads of other really awesome places.
We also got to work locally, and we definitely felt like we were part of the local community.
I went with my friend, and we shared an apartment together on Main Street, we made lots of friends.
All our transfers and everything we needed was arranged by the program staff, they always made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, the program was great fun, and I will definitely be returning sometime soon.

Everyone at Adventure Ireland was extremely friendly and helpful. The group doing the Adventure Sports program was one of the nicest group of people I've ever known.
Even though I froze my butt off in the water, it was a great experience, and I'd do it all again! Living in a small town meant that we really became part of the group, and saw Ireland from a non-tourist point of view.
Everything I thought about Ireland was true- everyone is really friendly and great fun. It is an absolutely beautiful country, and the scenery is truly breath-taking.
The social life is amazing in the town- there are a lot of surfers, musicians, students and visitors, and there is always fun going on somewhere. The staff on the program do everything to make sure you are safe, happy and kept occupied.
I am really glad I decided to come to Ireland, I'll never forget my experience.
Thanks for everything, Adventure Ireland.

Adventure Ireland is an awesome programme; I don’t think I’ve every been in a more beautiful place, with nicer people and so much to do. We saw castles from the 12th century, round towers from the 5th century…I learnt to speak some Gaelic and also visited the village where my great-great grandparents once lived. I felt really proud that I’d come back, knowing that they had emigrated for a better life. I felt it was a privilege to come back to their town, and reconnect again. Incredible experience that will stay with me forever.

My experience of the Adventure Ireland program was amazing! The course was fun as well as challenging and extremely valuable. The leadership training in combination with the surfing instruction and people I was surrounded by made the course a pleasure to get into the cold water for. We had opportunities to get work or internships and immerse ourselves in the town and culture. The course is an especially wonderful opportunity for anyone looking into the field of experiential and outdoor education.

I
made many international friends, there were tons of things to do and the area was unique and beautiful.  Adventure Ireland was a ton of fun.

It is only when you experience Irish generosity and friendship that you realise how rewarding it can be to stop thinking about yourself and become part of a culture that values the past and looks to the future.
