Adventure Ireland and Drew University have joined forces to put together a fantastic trip to Ireland that combines Irish history, culture & fun in a very affordable package for you. This is going to be a wonderful experience, especially if you are interested in Irish Studies and Irish Culture. This trip is open to undergraduates and graduates of Drew University, and other U.S. colleges. It is also open to school teachers and adults who are interested in a trip that includes lectures and field trips to places of cultural and historic importance in Ireland.
The entire trip will be lead by Niamh Hamill, who is currently taking a
doctorate in Irish Studies at Drew University, New Jersey. There will be
guest lecturers and teachers also. The trip includes lots of social and
fun events in the evening, and it is intended to be an authentic and
value-for-money trip, with an emphasis on avoiding “tourist” traps and
expensive amenities. If you are a five-star luxury hotel person, this
trip is not for you! If you love Ireland, and want to explore it among
local people, meet other teachers and students of Ireland, and finish
the day with a Guinness or two, sign up!
