7 Surfing in Ireland. Are you kidding? Isn't it cold?
No, not kidding, the west coast of Ireland is the very first landing
point for those Atlantic swells, Ireland has terrific surf conditions,
many many surf beaches and lots of uncrowded waves. The Gulf stream
currents keep the water between 12-15 degrees all year round: Yes, you
need to wear a wetsuit (provided), but it’s a small price to pay for the
cleanest, greenest water you will ever surf.

8 Who is in charge, what is the supervision like, is
Ireland safe?
Safety and Supervision
As parents, you will have concerns about the level of supervision.
We first recommend that you do contact parents who have through the
booking process, have sent their kids and can tell you all about
what we do. We say this with full confidence, because, to date,we have
never had a complaint from any parent about our care of our young
visitors.
You can read more about this here.
or we are happy to provide contact information for parents of alumini by
email.

9 Rules
Our programme is alcohol*, drug and smoke free.
Any student in breach of our rules will be expelled
*There is one exception, where under complete supervision the
students get a taste (and just a taste) of Guinness if their parents
give permission.Antisocial behaviour as decided by Adventure Ireland
will not be tolerated.
This includes bad language, bullying or teasing, disrespect to others,
lack of co-operation etc. As teachers, we are well used to handling
groups of teens, and these situations don’t arise, and our experience of
Adventure Ireland students has generally been very enthusiastic and co
operative.
A little flexibility allows students to have fun, but they will all be
aware of limits, beyond which there will be consequences. The staff at
Adventure Ireland will deal with minor incidents as we see fit.
Parents will be consulted if necessary.
As we are ‘in loco parentis’ we ask for your full co-operation and
support.
